Cameron Milford

Today, I (along with Inntown's JD) recorded some drums for Cameron Milford's demo.
Cam, JD, Dan Parsons, Steve Grady and I were in an awesome band called Inntown. It was a alt-country band with a not-so country rhythm section (JD's background is punk and hardcore, while I can't play bass for shit)
We were pretty awesome :D Unfortunately some of us had personal issues and other musical ambitions so the band split after a year.
Cam spent most of 2008 in Nashville USA. He has managed to meet The Wootens, Bela Fleck and Tommy Emmanuel there. He'll probably get the entire Flecktones + Tommy Emmanuel for his debut album.

Before that happens, JD and I recorded drums at Psi-Fi studios in the valley. He's going to use it as a songwriter demo/showcase cd. Cam's songs is a mixture of old-skool R&B, Country and Folk. It feels nice to record some pocket drumming. Managed to do a one-take wonder in a couple of songs, that always feels nice.
The drums sounds nice in too.. Peet G basically surrounded the kit with microhphones, every single piece of the drums were close mic'd (including the cymbals) I think he used a total of 12 mics.
